Fiberglass Final progress
So over the past two days i have spent majority of my time letting the epoxy cure which is kinda slowing me down but im still moving. After i layed the epoxy on the fleece and let that cure(thursday) i layed 9 layers of glass onto that(friday). This gave it a very hard serface and i believe it is strong enough to resist the vibrations and be able to hold the speakers inplace. Saturday i started on the finishing steps. I put a layer of epoxy down so that i can sand out the imperfections and get a smooth finish. Today im going back over it and finding any other spots that need the extra layer of epoxy. i plan to do that soon so i can get more work done on it tonight after it cures. Then its just sanding and filling. I think im going to go with a gloss black for the final color.
