Final Flashlight

Below are a few visuals of my final flashlight model. The finishing touches took much longer than I anticipated; particularly spray painting. I made the mistake of mixing different brands of spray paints and primers while painting which gave me mixed and disappointing results. I especially had problems with getting the chrome paint to dry. After several days of drying it was still "sticky" to the touch and would leave finger print indentations on the surface. Given this, I plan to go back and wet sand the surface and place another coat of primer and chrome paint (both complementary) and wait several days for it to dry. I plan to get a much better result.

Additionally, I made my flashlight functional by fixing a "punch-in" light on the top. I also made a cap that acts as an ambient glow lamp when the flashlight is not in use. Check it out.
