M60A1 AVLB
I choose the M60A1 armored vehicle launched bridge.
It is based on the M60A1 tank chassis, but it is fitted to lay down a bridge wherever necessary.
What else can you do with cardboard? There is only one thing:

Cardboard
Cat
I chose to do the 939C Hystat Track Type Loader. It’s a fairly detailed and somewhat complicated Cat machine. I primarily picked it for its interesting, defining features. For instance it has large treads instead of tires and it has a spiky shovel loader. Also, the exhaust really stands out. However, it still has the beefy overall structure that is characteristic of other Cat products such as its boxy structure and the large hydraulics. I look forward to creating a scale model of this construction machine. It should be quite a challenge.

Multi Terrain Loader
I have chosen the CAT Multi Terrain Loader. I like the compact form factor and how relatively sleek it is compared to some other construction machinery. I have worked with card board before, though only for rough mock ups, so it will be interesting to build a complete high quality model out of card board.
I found this cool picture of a full-scale scooter out of cardboard. There's a bunch more here: http://www.techchee.com/2007/12/22/cool-cardboard-art-cardboard-made-gadgets/
Cat Skid Steer Loader...
I chose the cat skid steer loader to mockup with cardboard. Some of the interesting uses of cardboard I have found included inhabitable rooms and structural components. Shigeru Ban constructed a large footbridge across a river which exemplifies the use of cardboard as a stable structure.

CAT Backhoe Loader
Compact Wheel Loader
I decided to recreate the compact wheel loader. I have driven a vehicle similar to this one before so I thought it would be interesting to make it out of cardboard. I've tried to use cardboard before and wasn't very successful but hopefully this will be a better experience. It can be very rigid while flimsy at the same time.
